Dr. Nevins graduated summa cum laude from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, then earned his Certificate for Graduate Training in Periodontology and a Master of Medical Sciences in Oral Biology from the Harvard School of Dental Medicine. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and a Fellow of the American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry. He is internationally renowned as a leader in his field, has served on numerous major professional committees and regularly conducts peer-education lectures and training sessions. Dr. Nevins has served as Editor in Chief of the International Journal of Periodontics & Restorative Dentistry since 2011. In addition to his education and service, Dr. Nevins is a 2-time winner of the American Academy of Periodontology’s R. Earl Robinson Periodontal Regeneration Award and is a 2017 recipient of the Clinical Research Award for the publication “A randomized, controlled, multicenter clinical trial of post-extraction alveolar ridge preservation”.
