Dr. Meghan Cooper is a board certified Endodontist who brings a wealth of expertise to Nevins Dental Center. She earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree with honors from Harvard School of Dental Medicine and continued her academic journey with a Master of Medical Sciences (MMSc) in Oral Biology and a Certificate in Endodontics from the same esteemed institution.
Dr. Cooper’s commitment to excellence is evident through her extensive clinical experience. She has previously served as an endodontist at Harvard University Health Service and in private practice, providing exceptional care to patients. Her dedication to her craft is underscored by her recognition as a Top Dentist in Endodontics by Boston Magazine on multiple occasions.
Dr. Cooper stays abreast of technological advances in endodontics, including the latest techniques in instrumentation, use of a surgical operating microscope, digital radiography, and 3D imaging. Her treatment philosophy is to take care of the patient first and foremost. She prioritizes a warm, welcoming environment followed by painless dentistry. Her patients leave with positive feelings towards root canal therapy.
Beyond her clinical practice, Dr. Cooper has made significant contributions to the field of dentistry. She currently holds a faculty appointment at Harvard School of Dental Medicine in the Division of Endodontics. Dr. Cooper is a published author in the Journal of Experimental Biology, and has presented primary research at both national and international conferences including the American Association of Endodontics and the International Society for Quality in Healthcare.
Dr. Cooper is a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics. She is a member of the American Association of Endodontics, Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society, and Massachusetts Association of Endodontists.
